DSAMC HISTORY Chris and Zelene Fowler, together with Aaron and Heather Jensen, founded the Down Syndrome Association of the Mid-Columbia (DSAMC). After Chris and Zelene’s second child, Henry, was born with Down syndrome, the families were inspired to form what came to be known as the DSAMC. Chris and Aaron are long-time best friends, which added to the passion put into this non-profit organization. Their vision was to form an Association to provide information, offer support, and create activities that would enhance the lives of those with Down syndrome and others in the
